Plumping Cushion Pads

Are you cushions needing a little TLC? If so why not give them a good plump up for at least 5 minutes. Why? The reason is simple it allows air to flow between the fibres whether a polyester or feather pad. The air circulated within the pad will allow the cushion to get back to a fuller and plumper look. So why breathe life back into your cushions.

Tips on plumping a cushion:-

Polyester Pads

Need to be shaken vigorously for at least 5 minutes to regain shape. Alternatively pop them in a tumble dryer on a low heat for a few minutes with or without a tennis ball. If you choose the former it will save you money and give you a workout at the same time. The latter will allow you to get on with something else. The choice is yours.

Feather Pads

Lay the pad on a flat surface and with corners held diagonally push towards each other. Then repeat the process on the other diagonal corners and continue this. Then plump opposite sides towards the middle. Once this has been done leave cushion pads in a warmer area for example an airing cupboard or next to a radiator for a couple of hours this allows warmer air to flow amongst the feathers.
